Boy George talks ‘unpredictable’ new season of The Voice

He’s set to ka-ka-come back to The Voice this year.

And Boy George, 56, hinted at a potential feud on the upcoming season of the hit Channel nine show.

The British singer, who returns as a coach on the show, said there could be tension between him and Delta Goodrem due to the new show. dynamic.

‘I might have a scrap with Delta [Goodrem],’ he told the Today show on Tuesday, before adding, ‘I might take Kelly [Rowland] down … who knows?’

Boy George is joined by fellow coaches Delta, Kelly and Joe Jonas on the new season.  

The colourful entertainer seemed excited about Joe Jonas taking on a coaching role, saying a change in judges changes the ‘dynamic,’ between the coaches.   

‘The dynamic is always interesting when there’s someone new,’ he said.

‘And you don’t know how you’re going to get on with that person … what it’s going to be like.’

‘It was educational, always emotional, energy-driven, most of all I got to work with the incredible talent out there, which was always my favourite part,’ he told the newspaper. 

It was well-known he and Boy George didn’t see eye-to-eye, but the Kissed by a Rose singer was coy about whether it factored in his decision to move on from the singing competition. 

‘Boy George has very little to do with my experience on The Voice,’ he said.   

‘My focus was with the talent that you have in that incredible country. I didn’t spend too much time thinking about Boy George, to be quite honest.’
