And Alex Nation reflected on the year that was, in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday.
Opening up on hitting rock bottom during a ‘challenging’ 2017, the 26-year-old shared with her fans: ‘I’m filled with a concoction of emotions.’

Posting a photo with her seven-year-old son Elijah from a previous relationship, Alex began the caption: ‘I’m going to be straight up and say in 2017, I didn’t always get it right.
‘It presented itself with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. It dealt me cards that I wasn’t expecting. It was honestly one of my most challenging years of my life.
‘As I reflect on the year that was, I am filled with a concoction of emotions. I’m both overwhelmed and elated. Whilst I was faced with many challenges and inner turmoils, my journey for self love and inner peace continued and with this the self growth was immense.’
The Melbourne-based personality went on to say that despite the challenges, she’s thankful for what’s to come: ‘I’m thankful for what has been and what is yet to come. Hey 2018, I’m dying to get to know you.’
