A spokesperson from Health and Fitness Travel told FEMAIL that while it’s rare for people to actually take the entire year, many do book large sections of it.
‘The year long trip is more of an inspirational itinerary, however we do have many clients who book for several months, making a long term commitment to changing unhealthy behaviours to improve their health and fitness,’ she said.
‘It is more common to see a one to three month booking though lots of guests will take a one or two week break and perhaps add it onto the end of their regular travels.’
