McDonald’s has surprised burger lovers by announcing the return of the special item that took Australia by storm in 2017.
The Chicken Big Mac comes back to McDonald’s restaurants nationwide starting today, available in-store and via UberEATS.
Popular demand has seen the burger reinstated on McDonald’s menus for a limited time, beginning at 10:30am on Wednesday January 10.

Burger lovers have been creating a similar burger in secret for years – combining a McChicken pattie with Big Mac toppings.
Now customers will no longer need to mix and match, with the creative combined burgers available for direct order.
The Chicken Big Mac has Special Sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions on a sesame seed bun along with two McChicken patties.
‘Our customers love it when we serve up our icons with exciting twists,’ a McDonald’s Australia spokesperson said.
‘From today we’ll be giving Australians more of what they want with the return of the much-loved Chicken Big Mac to restaurants nationwide.’
‘We’ll be serving Chicken Big Mac burgers for a limited time only, so make sure you head in soon to avoid missing out!’
