Twins bear uncanny resemblance to the Property Brothers

It’s thought that meeting your doppelganger – a complete stranger who looks just like you – is a measure of bad luck. 

But a pair of Toronoto-based identical twins, Niko and Marko Martinovic, 29, seemed pretty happy when they ran into their very famous doubles.

Taking to Reddit, Niko Martinovic shared a picture of him and his brother posing with Jonathan and Drew Scott, 39, the identical twin brothers who are the stars of the hit show, Property Brothers.

Niko captioned the shot with: ‘My twin brother and I ran into our celebrity lookalikes the property brothers’. 

In less than 24 hours, the picture went viral, with hundred of Redditors taking to the thread to express their shock, delight and disbelief at the uncanny resemblance between the two sets of twins. 

Redditor knotquiteawake wrote: ‘It’s like the Matrix had a glitch and just loaded the default user template over and over again.’

Another person joked that the image featured ‘lying quadruplets trying to pull a fast one’.

And McMeatbag typed: ‘The property brothers are just future yous. I think the bigger story here is that you own a time machine.’ 

User SEND_PAD_BULGE_PLEAS agreed, suggesting, ‘Like they could be cousins, or an older pair of twin brothers.’

While spinthesky shared: ‘Time traveling twins? You’re just a younger vision of them.’ 

Showing their sense of humor, the twins also took to the comments section to respond to questions from Redditors looking for more information. 

Using the username SurvivingTeepee they wrote: ‘Our father promised us he didn’t have an affair with another family.’

And when asked if they all shared the same heritage by Redditor DarlinarsDaughter, the twins replied that their ancestors are Serbian while the Property Brothers are of Scottish descent. 

No strangers to the limelight, Niko and Marko have a YouTube channel named ‘Life of Twins’, that sees them play practical jokes and pranks on people. 

Their band, Still Seasons, has also just released its first single, Black Cocaine. 

Now in its 11th season, Property Brothers follows twins Jonathan and Drew Scott help buyers find a fixer-uppers and transform them into their dream home.
