Jessica Falkholt hero witnesses another fatal crash scene

The heroic mother-of-three who dragged actress Jessica Falkholt and her sister from a car wreck has been left horrified after witnessing the scene of another fatal crash just weeks later.

Lisa Elmas, 44, was one of the first witnesses on the scene of a horror head-on crash that has left a former Iranian Olympian and his five-year-old son in critical condition, and his wife Tamara Mobarrez, 36, dead.

The cars collided about 4pm Thursday in Milton, on New South Wales’ south coast, just minutes away from the scene of the deadly Boxing Day crash that killed Jessica’s parents Lars and Vivian, and sister Annabelle.

Former swimmer Hamid Mobarrez, 36, and his son Eli continue to fight for life in hospital with critical head wounds after the family’s Subaru Forester was ploughed into by a Volvo driven by a 39-year-old man.

Ms Elmas told 7 News on Friday she couldn’t bare to face the horrific scene so soon after her Boxing Day heroics.

‘I just said: “Oh my god, another head-on”,’ Ms Elmas told the network.

‘It was horrific, I had to turn around and hop out of the car.’

Emergency services were already on the scene by the time Ms Elmas stumbled across the wreckage on a stretch of rural road described as a ‘sweeping bend’.

Crash investigators are still calling for witnesses and awaiting the test results of blood and urine taken from the Volvo driver – who suffered only minor injuries.

He represented Iran in the 100-metre freestyle at the Sydney Olympic games in 2000, and also held his home nation’s 100-metre butterfly record in 2007.

Mr Mobarrez continues to fight for his life along with Home And Away actress Jessica, 28 – whose life support was switched off the same day as his car crash.

Jessica’s family made the decision on Thursday evening, just one day after the funeral of her parents and sibling.
