The first daughter, 36, was seen heading out in the Secret Service vehicle around 9 this morning, making a morning call as she departed her house in the upscale neighborhood of Kalorama.
She avoided the rainy weather, with showers planned throughout the day in D.C. while temperatures remained in the sixties.

Jared departed a little after 8, and walked to his vehicle in a rain coat, which he wore over his usual suit and tie.
Ivanka cut a much different figure yesterday, when she took advantage of the warmer weather and stepped out without a coat and in a long-sleeved, light blue dress.
She paired the pastel number with a pair of opaque black tights, as well as quirky open-back shoes with black pompoms on them.
The first daughter previously wore the dress in New York City back in December 2016, when her father was the president-elect.

Ivanka was accompanied by her six-year-old daughter Arabella, who looked ready for her day of school and carried her backpack on her shoulders as she and her mother walked towards the Secret Service vehicle waiting for them.
She was also holding a plastic bag and seemed intrigued by its contents, which she inspected on her way to the car.
Jared left with Ivanka and Arabella a little after 8 yesterday morning, making an exception to his habits, which usually see him leave the house slightly earlier than his wife and fellow White House adviser.
Jared stuck to his classics, wearing a dark blue suit and a beige tie.
The family’s joint departure came the day after Jared’s 37th birthday, which Ivanka celebrated on social media and in person.
In the evening, she posted a photo of herself with her husband on Twitter, writing on the caption: ‘With the birthday boy on his 37th birthday! Here’s to many more great days, years and decades to come with my love!’

She chose to post her message next to a throwback picture of herself with Jared, back when she was pregnant with one of their three children.
Ivanka can be seen in the photo, dressed in a pale pink sundress, cradling her baby bump and resting her hand on Jared’s shoulder.
The First Daughter originally shared the snap in January 2016, when she was pregnant with her and Jared’s third child, Theodore, now one.
Her decision to share the image now, however, confused some of her followers, who thought she was announcing a fourth pregnancy and even congratulated her.
