Dancing on Ice: Brooke Vincent suffers fashion faux pas

She looked stunning when she stormed the ice rink in a tiny scarlet leotard.

But Brooke Vincent was left mortified when she suffered a serious wardrobe malfunction mid-performance with skating partner Matej Silecky on Dancing on Ice on Sunday.

The Coronation Street star, 25, showed off more leg than intended when her fishnet tights ripped after the garment got caught on her professional partner’s shirt button.

Corrie star Brooke continued her performance sporting a huge gaping hole in the racy garment as she whirled around the skating rink on the arms of her partner.

Before getting tangled up, the contestant had exuded confidence in a tiny scarlet leotard, flaunting her recent one stone weight loss.

Despite the serious wardrobe malfunction, the pair were delighted with the news that they were skating into next week.

The couple were first to take to the ice rink to Carly Rae Jepsen’s I Really Like You but they received a total of 13 out of 40 for their performance.

Jason scored the pair a three, Ashley matched his result with a three while Jayne and Chris offered a more generous 3.5 each.

Following the performance, Brooke admitted: ‘We went back there and did that spin, I was proud for not being really dizzy.’

Unfortunately for the soap star the judges were quick to pick up on the serious wardrobe malfunction which hampered the dance.

Jayne said: ‘I would like to see more skating, concentrate on the basics and bend the knees, once you got caught, it felt like forever

Meanwhile, Ashley explained: ‘It’s your job to convince us that nothing has gone wrong, some of the transitions were a bit clunky.’

Jason said: ‘ I think it took too long to recover from that, what I do like about you, there is potential. But we lost a lot of content.’

Her appearance on the show comes after Brooke dismissed fears of the ‘curse’, to which her fellow co-star Samia Longchambon fell victim of in 2013.

Former Dancing on Ice contestant Samia split from her then boyfriend Will Thorpe when she was partnered with Frenchman Sylvain.

She has gone onto marry the professional dancer and the happy couple have welcomed two-year-old son Yves together.

Addressing the ‘curse’, Brooke revealed her boyfriend has been ‘mega supportive’ of her appearance on the show.

‘Was that the curse a worry when I signed up for Dancing On Ice? No,’ she told The Sun ahead of the competition. ‘My boyfriend is mega supportive and told me to go for it 100 per cent.’

It is no surprise the English beauty does not feel her relationship is threatened by the curse as she has been loved-up with her boyfriend for the past year.
