David Harbour offers to officiate couple’s wedding

David Harbor, of Stranger Things fame, may officiate an Illinois couple’s September wedding. If the bride-to-be’s request for him to do so receives 125k retweets, he said that he would officiate

Stranger Things actor David Harbour may once again make a fan’s dream come true via Twitter.

The Netflix actor was asked by Ericka Millholland, 23, if he would be the officiant at her wedding this upcoming September to Daniel Rockwood, 27.

‘What would it take to get @DavidKHarbour to be the Officiant at my wedding in September?!’ she tweeted.

Harbour, 42, replied on Tuesday evening: ‘125k retweets. Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece. #allthecakes’

As of Tuesday night, the tweet had garnered around 25,000 retweets.

Millholland, of Springfield, Illinois, told DailyMail.com: ‘My sister, Courtney is actually the one that told me to tweet him. We had read the story about how he did the senior pictures with that other girl and thought it was hilarious and amazing.

‘We are both big fans of the show, and Hopper is our favorite character, so we thought it would just be funny to tweet at him, thinking it would be completely ignored!’

Millholland, who met Rockwood while they were working at a local grocery store called County Market, said she would be ‘extremely happy and overjoyed’ if Harbour officiated at her wedding.

The couple is due to tie the knot on September 15.

It appears that the Stranger Things star has decided to increase the number of retweets needed from his fans for him to take action.

Harbour’s move comes after he posed with a California high school student for her senior pictures – after her Twitter request garnered his requisite 25,000 retweets.

Damaris Fregoso, a senior at Orestimba High School in Newman, California, reached out to him back on October.

Millholland added to DailyMail.com that she would be 'extremely happy and overjoyed' if the Stranger Things star, who plays Police Chief Jim Hopper on the streaming show, officiated at her wedding

The student, 17, said she was about to hop in the shower when she decided to send a casual message to the actor, which simply read: ‘@DavidKHarbour how many retweets for you take my senior photos with me?’

Harbour, who plays Police Chief Jim Hopper on the streaming show, replied with ’25K’.

He added: ‘And I get to wear the school sweatshirt and hold a trombone.’

‘I realized it was my own tweet and once I saw that I started shaking really bad,’ Fregoso told Fox40. ‘I could not control my shaking. And I thought, “Is this real?” Like, what the heck?’

Her initial message has now been shared more than 30,000 times.

David asked Fregoso to send him a direct message, and planning began for the photo session.

She posted photos from the session last week.
