A Victorian teenager who allegedly raped his younger sister in a bathroom and threatened her with a knife has been released on bail.
The 18-year-old, who is now homeless, is accused of sexually assaulting his sister on three occasions in 2015 and 2016.
It’s alleged one attack occurred in a bathroom where he punched the girl several times before threatening her with a knife and raping her.

He is also accused of deliberately walking in on his grandmother while she was in the shower.
He faced a children’s court on Thursday and was released on supervised bail, despite some uncertainty about where he would live.
The court was told that out of all the male refuge centres in Victoria there was currently only one longer-term vacancy available.
But the teen was granted bail on the basis he is supervised by a social worker and makes daily contact with youth justice authorities.

The social worker, who gave evidence, said backpacker hostels are sometimes used to house alleged offenders who are on bail.
The young man has indicated he will contest the allegations. He faces 12 charges, including rape and making threats to kill.
He is due to return to court on February 2.
