Kim and Kris gain victory against Blac Chyna in lawsuit

It’s the legal battle that’s been rumbling on since October when Blac Chyna claimed the Kardashian family had sabotaged her reality show with ex-fiance Rob and ruined her brand.

And now Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have won a big victory in the fight against Chyna, as a judge tentatively dismissed the duo from the lawsuit this week.

It’s being reported that Kardashian lawyer Shawn Holley went head-to-head with Chyna’s lawyer Lisa Bloom in court on Thursday and convinced the judge to see his side of the argument.

A judge has tentatively dismissed Kim Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner from a lawsuit Blac Chyna filed against them last year claiming they sabotaged her reality show with ex Rob

TMZ writes that Holley’s aim was to get Kim and Kris dropped from the lawsuit, which also names Kris’ son Rob, 30 .

In Chyna’s original lawsuit she named the whole Kardashian clan, including Khloe, Kendall, Kylie and Kourtney but ended up amending it to go after just Kris, Kim and Rob.

The news comes days after Kim, Rob and Kris hit back at the former stripper.

The celebrity trio countered Chyna’s claims by saying they are ‘bald conclusions that have no factual support.’

However, Chyna is said to be fuming according to TMZ, after the Kardashian clan asked the judge to toss the case because they said she is responsible for the cancellation after she got a restraining order against Rob.

TMZ’s insider says that Chyna is mad because she thinks women shouldn’t lose jobs because of trying to protect her and her family from violence, adding that she had ‘fears’ for her and daughter Dream’s safety.

Chyna, who also claims Rob abused her, thinks the Kardashian clan are sending a bad message to women who get domestic violence restraining orders.

However, after Rob agreed to pay her $20,000 monthly in child support for their daughter Dream, Chyna dropped the restraining order; which shows she didn’t really feel threatened, according to TMZ via a Kardashian source.

The Kardashians, according to TMZ’s report from Wednesday, claim that the former exotic dancer is the only party responsible for the Rob & Chyna show cancellation.

Their reasoning is that when she filed for the restraining order against Rob, it made it impossible to shoot any scenes of her with Rob.

According to Chyna – whose real name is Angela White – the US TV network E!, the show’s production team and Rob were all open to shooting a second season before it was suddenly cut, and she believes the trio were responsible for the cancellation.

Chyna – who also has five-year-old son King Cairo with her ex-fiance Tyga – has also accused the Kardashians of defamation, after they alleged that she left Dream at home while she went to a party, but the Kardashians insist they never made that claim.

Rob and Chyna started dating in January 2016 – the same they got engaged and also welcomed their daughter Dream, now 13 months. They were on-off until they broke off their relationship in February 2017.
