Hertfordshire crash sees car fly through the air

This is the dramatic moment a drink driver’s car flew through the air, narrowly missing an electrical substation.

In the shocking footage, a car is seen missing a turning, flying through the air at speed and smashing through gates, narrowly missing the substation near Maxted Road, in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

The drink driver was Ross Edmonds, 26, and he and his two passengers all escaped serious injury.

Mr Edmonds had been drinking in Hemel Hempstead town centre when he decided to drive himself and his two friends home.

Clearly, he hadn’t realised just how much he had drunk and the three friends were lucky to avoid serious injury, if not death.

The video of the frightening smash is from March 12, 2017 and it took place just after 2am.
