Two of the biggest names in the history of United States gymnastics arrived together in court on Friday morning for day four of Larry Nassar’s sentencing.
Six-time Olympic medalist Ali Raisman and her Fierce Five teammate at the 2012 Olympic Games in London Jordyn Wieber entered the room just before the proceedings began for the day.
The two women sat together in the front row, with Raisman now likely to deliver her victim impact statement in person despite saying she would be having it read by the district attorney earlier this week.
Wieber, who has never spoken publicly about the Nassar scandal, grew up in the area, and trained with the doctor’s close friend John Geddert.
