A fed up Brisbane tradesman has written a hilarious note to his wife about her bathroom etiquette in their home.
Frustrated with her routines, which included using his razor and leaving the lid off his hair product, the husband stuck the note to the mirror in their shared bathroom.
‘I thought the idea of twin vanities in, meant we got our own — you know, His and Hers. Why is it then, that my vanity basin has become a permanent storage container for your make-up brushes, bottles, lipsticks and whatever other “girl-magic” you practise,’ it read.

The letter included a list of habits that he would like to see changed or ended, such as forgetting to put the lid back on the toothpaste.
He challenged his wife to empty the bathroom bin, encouraged her to use the flush button more and educated her that bath towels belong on hooks, as opposed to the floor.
‘I love you very much — please change (your) bathroom habits,’ the note ended,
Kath Rose, the recipient of the letter told ABC the letter was taken in good humour, and had her in a fit of laughter.
She said it was the first time that her husband had ever taken the time to write her a warning and hopes it will be the last.

‘He made a really important point about bathroom politics and marriages and how it’s important to be open about it and chat … about how you share bathrooms, because it could really be a reflection of the marriage.’
Australian School of Etiquette director Zarife Hardy said the simplest way to share a bathroom was to figure out what works and maintain it.
‘Number one is if you’re sharing with a few people, work out schedules,’ she said.
Ms Hardy said that courtesy goes a long way as no one appreciates a person who uses all the hot water, takes too long in the shower or leaves hair in the sink.
