A source told The Sun: ‘She must have been grassed up by someone, either another worker or a prisoner, for having an inappropriate affair with Dobson.

‘Apparently they’d been having sex in the prison workshop. She is married, her husband’s not going to be too happy.’

He is accused of starting a relationship with the married staff member while she was working for a courier firm delivering supplies to the canteen.

Dobson shot music producer Richard Holmes, 21, following a row over ‘disrespectful’ song lyrics and was locked up for life in 2006.

The rapper and his associate, Anthony Green, 35, confronted Mr Holmes because he allied himself with the up-and-coming garage star Shaba Shah, 16.

Shah, or Shaba Shak, had insulted Dobson’s half-brother, Dwayne Mahorn, 25, in a song.

West Mercia police said: ‘A 35-year-old woman from Evesham was arrested on 15 January, on suspicion of misconduct in a public office. She has been released under investigation while inquiries continue.’

The Ministry of Justice spokesman said: ‘This individual is subject to a police investigation, so it would be inappropriate to comment further.’
