Andy Murray has aced Australian rival Nick Kyrgios with a cutting comment on social media.
Commenting on a photo of the 22-year-old star posted on Instagram, the Scottish dual-Wimbledon champion wasted no time ribbing Kyrgios, a close friend.
When Murray spotted the picture, showing Kyrgios relaxing on a leather couch with a pillow covering his torso, he quickly served up a winning response.

‘Pillow strategically placed to cover the gut?’ asked Murray, much to the amusement of Kyrgios’ followers.
The savage remark was the latest in a series of hilarious comments made by Murray on social media.
On January 20 he took part in a Q&A on Twitter where he made a few jokes at his mother Judy Murray’s expense.
First came the question ‘Is Judy Murray as cool as she seems on TV?’ to which Murray replied: ‘Cool?!?! You’ve got to be kidding me.’

Next someone asked: ‘Does Judy really get on your nerves as much as it seems?’
‘No… It’s much more than it seems,’ Murray said.
‘Will there ever be a boy born who can swim faster than a shark?’ asked someone else.
Kyrgios is not the only tennis pro on the receiving end of Murray’s wit, which fellow British player Mark Petchey found out when he posted a panorama photo
‘I don’t know,’ said Murray. ‘But if I crash land in a jungle will I be able to eat my own shoe?’
He also revealed he thinks Vegemite is ‘rancid’, and replied he has ‘almost learned English’ when asked what languages he speaks,

When Murray posted a gif of a baby crying to show his sadness at missing the Grand slam, Williams replied ‘I know all about it!’
