Speculation has been rife over who will make Meghan Markle’s wedding gown for the big day on May 19.
While the designer’s identity has been kept closely under wraps, a frontrunner has now emerged – in the form of the monarch’s couturier Stewart.
Parvin, who was tasked with designing Zara Phillips’ 2011 bridal gown, is currently the bookies’ favourite to design the Suits actress’s frock.
The royal favourite, who is now evens (odds of 1 to 1) to get the prestigious job, has overtaken other prime contenders including Roland Mouret, Erdem and Alexander McQueen.

The British designer has been Her Majesty’s dressmaker since 2000, with the 91-year-old regularly pictured wearing his designs.
Her niece Zara wore a stunning ivory gown by Parvin when she tied the knot with Mike Tindall in 2011, featuring a corseted bodice and a voluminous bell-shaped skirt.
Parvin, who is known for his classic and elegant bridal gowns would be a much more traditional choice than fashion experts have previously expected.
The designer trained at the Edinburgh College of Art under couturier Donald Campbell, before launching his own collection in 1995.

He also runs a bridal couturier, offering a personal design service from £7,000, as well as presenting two collections a year.
Meghan has previously hinted that her ideal wedding dress would be ‘classic and simple’, which would make the royal couturier the perfect choice.
Speaking in an interview with Glamour in March 2016, before her romance with Harry emerged, Meghan said: ‘Classic and simple is the name of the game, perhaps with a modern twist.
‘I personally prefer wedding dresses that are whimsical or subtly romantic.’
Meghan also explained that she would not choose a gown like the Anne Barge wedding dress by her Suits character Rachel Zane in season 5.

Aside from her wedding dress, Zara has also been seen wearing other designs from Parvin. She chose a blue coat and dress by Parvin for Prince George’s christening in 2013

‘It’s not my personal style, because I’m a lot more relaxed than Rachel but I love that I got to play dress up in this gown,’ she said.
The actress also listed some of her favourite wedding dress labels, including French designer Delphine Manivet and Greek-based designer Christos Costarellos, as well as Elie Saab and J. Mendel.
Other contenders that have been suggested for the big job include Canadian designer Erdem, as well as Ralph and Russo, the couture house chosen by Meghan for her engagement photographs.
British designers Alexander McQueen, Alice Temperley and Victoria Beckham are also listed among the favourites by bookmakers, along with French designer Roland Mouret.
