A man who was banned from driving from almost 1000 years has been caught driving again.
A 52-year-old man was disqualified from driving until 3002 for a number of offences including driving under the influence, Northern Star reported.
Police stopped the man in Dungarubba, 29 kilometres south of Lismore, on Sunday evening where he failed a breath test.

The man was then taken to Lismore Police Station where he was charged.
The 52-year-old was charged with mid range drink driving and driving while disqualified, according to the publication.
The man is expected to face Lismore Local Court next month.
