MKR’s Jess Alvial reignites feud with Roula Kfoury

Since the show kicked off earlier this week, My Kitchen Rules’ Roula Kfoury and Rachael Hammer have been at loggerheads with Jess Alvial and Emma Byron.

And in Thursday’s Who magazine, Jess reignited her feud with her co-stars.

‘They were itching for a fight!’ the 31-year-old real-estate business manager told the publication.

‘They were out to start trouble!’ MKR’s Jess Alvial (L), 31, reignited her feud with Roula and Rachael, in Thursday’s Who magazine, as she claims co-stars were ‘itching for a fight’

‘I think they were out to start trouble. It was almost like they were itching for a fight or something,’ Jess claimed of Melbourne-based best friends Roula and Rachael.

‘For me, I didn’t want to go in fighting with people, but I don’t like when people are confrontational for no reason,’ Jess’ sister Emma, 38, added of their competitors.

However Roula, 34, had a different take on things, telling Who that she was ‘taken aback’ by the girls’ harsh critique on their first dish.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Roula and Rachael for comment.

‘When I actually met Jess and Emma, I was nice, very nice. And then when I saw how they reacted towards my very first critique, I wasn’t impressed with that. I was kind of taken aback.’

The comments follow Wednesday night’s episode that saw Roula and Rachael purposely serve the blonde sisters uncooked brownies during their Instant Restaurant round.

The ‘friends with attitude’ made the choice to give ‘The Plastics’ raw dessert after realising they didn’t have enough cooked brownies for everyone, causing the women to exclaim ‘Game on. F**k you.’

After being outspoken in earlier Instant Restaurant rounds, the pressure was on for Rachael and Roula to deliver at their 90s hip-hop themed restaurant ‘House of Flava’.

However, the girls got off to a disastrous start when they forgot to make enough dishes for everyone and their prawn entree was overcooked and overpowered by onions.

‘Fail. I pack better lunches for my son’s school,’ Jess complained of the entree, adding: ‘It was horrible and I have to walk around with this breath for the rest of the night.’

While Rachael and Roula managed to turn the night around somewhat by dishing up perfectly cooked salmon with asparagus and mustard and dill sauce for the main course, the girls couldn’t keep up the efforts in dessert round.

The friends had dramas in the kitchen when their second batch of brownies were undercooked, meaning they were two serves short.

‘They’re raw! F**k. What the hell are we going to do?’ Rachael exclaimed, freaking out about the conundrum.

With their guests and judges Pete Evans and Manu Feildel waiting for their meals, Rachael decided: ‘One team is going to have to have the raw brownies. It’s our only option right now.’

Despite the predicament, Roula tried to salvage their efforts as best they could.

‘Just put cream on top of it!’ she offered.

And since the blonde sisters and the ‘friends with attitude’ suffered personality clashes in previous rounds, Rachael and Roula decided it would be Jess and Emma who would receive the underwhelming fare.

‘Jess and Emma are probably going to complain about any dish we made and we know they’re going to be negative towards us anyway so we might as well give it to Jess and Emma,’ Roula explained.

Jess and Emma quickly realised that while the rest of the teams had been given cooked baked goods, they were served what fellow contestant Alex described as ‘cowpat brownies’.

‘We cannot believe what they just served us. Big mistake,’ Jess said, adding: ‘Game on. F**k you!’

Emma was just as perturbed, declaring: ‘There’s gooey and then there’s pooey!’
