A South Carolina woman’s horrifying videos of a hairdryer she ordered off Amazon becoming a flamethrower has gone viral.
Erika Augthun Shoolbred, of Spartanburg, posted two videos of her hairdryer from OraCorp smoking up and shooting fire.
‘Oh my gosh, I cannot freaking believe this,’ she says in one of the videos.

The South Carolina woman said in a Facebook video: ‘Oh my gosh, I cannot freaking believe this.’ She added in a Facebook post: ‘Talk about a bad hair day!’
Shoolbred said Amazon gave her a full refund
‘Talk about a bad hair day!’ she added on her Facebook post dated January 29.
‘My new hair dryer (more like hair frier) from OraCorp on Amazon.com became a blow torch on its first use this morning.
‘A small burn on my hand and an enormous smell to my master bath – the company has yet to respond to my complaint or videos.’
She later explained on Facebook that Amazon gave her a full refund for the hairdryer but that OraCorp had not contacted her.
Amazon has since removed the Salon Grade Hair Dryer by OraCorp from its website.
Other OraCorp products are still available for purchase.
