Harry Cornick’s strike saw Sky Bet League Two leaders Luton return to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over promotion-rivals Exeter.
The Hatters were beaten at home by Wycombe on Tuesday evening, but Cornick’s fifth goal of the season helped them maintain an eight-point advantage over Wanderers.
Wycombe continued their push for promotion as two stoppage-time goals saw them snatch a 4-3 victory against Carlisle – a fifth straight win.

Matt Bloomfield and Luke Luke O’Nien sent Wycombe in at half time 2-0 ahead, but the Cumbrians turned things around after the break.
O’Nien was dismissed when Kris Twardek’s shot hit his arm on the goal line and Danny Grainger stroked home the resulting penalty.
Joe Jacobson missed a penalty for the hosts before goals from Jamie Devitt and Cole Stockton put Carlisle 3-2 ahead.
However, the hosts did not lie down and Marcus Bean and Paris Cowan-Hall scored in five minutes of time added on to snatch all three points.
Elliott Hewitt scored twice to help third-placed Notts County to a 4-1 win over Crewe.
Shaun Miller put Crewe ahead early on, but goals from Noor Husin, Hewitt (two) and Mason Bennett secured victory.
Mansfield made it three wins in a row after a 3-1 victory over Barnet with goals from Alex MacDonald, Will Atkinson and Danny Rose.
Sean McConville’s brace guided Accrington to a 3-2 win over Stevenage, while a stoppage-time equaliser from Michael Bostwick earned Lincoln a 2-2 draw with 10-man Swindon.

Lewis Young’s last-minute winner gave Crawley a 2-1 win at Chesterfield and goals from Nathan Smith and new signing Alex Fisher fired Yeovil to a 2-0 win over Cambridge.
Elsewhere, Grimsby and Cheltenham drew 1-1 and Morecambe played out a goalless draw at Port Vale.
