Police in Florida said that they arrested a man who threatened to kidnap singer Lana Del Rey after receiving an anonymous tip.
Riverview resident Michael Hunt, 43, was taken into custody on Friday after the Orlando Police Department alleged he made threats against the musician.
Hunt has been charged with attempted kidnapping with a weapon and aggravated stalking with a credible threat, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

According to the Sentinel, police were alerted to the threat after an anonymous source called in to say Hunt shared ‘cryptic and threatening’ posts on social media toward the singer, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant.
A police report shows that officers determined there was ‘a concern for public safety’ and ‘due to the statements posted by Hunt, victim Elizabeth Grant was in fear for her safety,’ according to clickorlando.com.
Although police officials did not release any information detailing the threats, the Orlando Sentinel reported that several Facebook posts apparently belonging to Hunt professed his love for the 32-year-old artist.
‘I want to see my queen on Friday and from that day forward our decisions will be as one,’ Hunt wrote on Jan. 30.
In a separate post, Hunt said the singer ‘knows my face in her dreams’ and ‘she’s my always and forever to be.’

Just days before his arrest, Hunt posted a rambling video of himself on Facebook in which he talked about his plans to ‘get together’ with Grant.
‘I’m going to probably finish out her tour with her, obviously, and dance and talk and figure out what we’re going to do,’ he said.
The video also shows Hunt shifting frequently between a myriad of different political topics, then looping back to Grant and telling viewers that ‘I’m letting my feet rest before I take off with Lana’ on Friday.
Hunt has a long criminal history, with Florida Department of Corrections showing that he has served five prison terms, including burglary of an occupied structure, grand theft of a motor vehicle and grand theft with a firearm, according to The Sentinel.
Hunt was last released from prison on Jan. 29, 2014, after serving nine months on an evading arrest conviction.
