Two people have been injured and around 11 homes have been evacuated after a suspected gas explosion in Bolton.
Emergency services were called to Rydal Grove in Farnworth at around 2.40pm today.
An air ambulance has also been spotted in the area and the condition of the two casualties – thought to be a man and a woman – are unknown.

A spokesman for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘We’re currently responding to an explosion in Farnworth, crews from Bolton and Farnworth fire stations are on the scene.’
