How to make a Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit bouquet

They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. And the way to a woman’s heart? Well, it seems that may also be through her stomach.

While some ladies may like to get flowers on Valentine’s Day, others would happily pass up a dozen roses for a bunch of cheesy, buttery biscuits.

And for those ladies, Red Lobster is offering a tutorial for making an entire bouquet of its beloved Cheddar Bay Biscuits.

Last year, the seafood chain released step-by-step instructions for making a Cheddar Bay Biscuit Bouquet, and the tasty offering is providing inspiration again this year.

‘This Valentine’s Day, stop smelling the roses and start smelling the biscuits,’ the chain said, according to Food52.

‘Roses are nice and all, but a Cheddar Bay Biscuit bouquet is truly the way to your significant other’s heart.’

On Instagram, they showed another biscuit being bitten into a heart, writing: ‘Want to do something cheesy for your Valentine? These biscuits are a pretty good place to start.’

To make the bouquet at home, all a person needs is one piece of square red cardstock, one package of square red napkins, one package of wooden dowels, one Styrofoam cone, a box of Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix, and tape.

The red cardstock is wrapped and taped around the Styrofoam cone. Stick the wooden dowels into the cone, and use those for mounts for the biscuits.

The red napkins can be used to make paper roses to fill in the gaps. There are tutorials for making them on YouTube.

Quite a few food chains have launched unlikely promotions for Valentine’s Day this year and in years past.

White Castle hosts an annual Valentine’s Day dinner, which includes a special menu, decorations, and even giveaways and treats at some locations. In some cities, the celebration is so popular that reservations fill up weeks out.

In the UK, a McDonald’s location in Newcastle will offer a £20 three-course meal ‘of McValentine’s perfection’ on the holiday, which is designed for couples.

‘Email us to look at our menu or to book your table now to avoid destroying your chances of real “couple goals” this McValentine’s Day,’ the franchise wrote on Facebook.
