A multi-car crash in Iowa Monday involved the bus holding cast and crew members on tour for Dancing with the Stars.
Dancing with the Stars: Live! Light Up The Night released information regarding the startling matter to social media late in the afternoon.
‘IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM DANCING WITH THE STARS: LIVE! REGARDING TONIGHT’S SHOW IN AMES, IOWA: One of the tour buses transporting cast and crew of “Dancing with the Stars: Live! Light Up The Night” was involved in a multi-car accident this afternoon due to bad weather while en route to Ames, Iowa,’ the post read on Instagram.
Names of the individuals on the bus have not been released, but DWTS confirmed all members are OK, while some are ‘recovering from minor injuries’.

DWTS confirmed all members are OK, while some are ‘recovering from minor injuries’. One other person was killed, and five others are in critical condition
However, Iowa State Patrol told E! News in a statement one person involved in the 50 plus pileup was killed. Five others are currently in critical condition and under care at the hospital.
A spokesperson for the dancing tour confirmed on social media tonight’s Ames show has been postponed.
‘Given this unforeseen accident, and the fact that the safety and health of our cast and crew is of the utmost importance, tonight’s show at Stephens Auditorium in Ames, IA has been cancelled,’ the statement read.
‘To anyone involved in the accident, the entire cast sends their best wishes for a speedy recovery, and their deepest apologies to all of the fans who have been waiting to see the show tonight.

Earlier Monday, ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ star Frankie Muniz tweeted a nostalgic message from the tour bus.
‘Riding in the bus on our way to the show tonight in Ames, Iowa, looking out the window at the snow covered ground in this crazy blizzard listening to unreleased songs of a band I was in 8 years ago…,’ Muniz wrote.
Police confirmed the multi-vehicle crash had been caused by hazardous road conditions from the blizzard.
