Since rising to fame, she has often spoken about her pride in hailing from Texas, and has declared that she visits her old home ‘every chance’ she gets.
But Selena Gomez is planning to part ways with her most expensive asset in the Lone Star State, as she has put her palatial five-bedroom, six-bathroom Fort Worth property on sale for an eye-watering $2.9 million – several months after withdrawing it from the market.
And the potential buyer will enjoy abundant luxuries, as the 25-year-old Come & Get It singer’s house boasts a glistening swimming pool, private cinema, expansive putting green and enough garage space to park eight cars.
It Ain’t Free! Singer and actress Selena Gomez has put her palatial estate in Forth Worth, Texas, on the market for $2.9million
Grand Prairie native Selena purchased the estate, which is just over 10,000 square feet and sits on 1.5 acres of rolling green land, through her business manager Richard Feldstein – father of actor Jonah Hill – in 2015.
Sitting in he posh and gated Monsterrat neighbourhood, the two-storey home provides plenty of room for entertainment, with a full bar and large open-plan kitchen that flows into the living room.
And the living room itself is a sight to behold, thanks to its dramatic vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace.
However, the luxuries don’t stop there, as the house also includes separate games and crafts rooms, while the cinema room is filled with plush recliners for guests to feel at home.
Take a dip: The home boasts countless luxury fixtures and fittings throughout, including a glistening outdoor swimming pool
Stunning stairway: On entering the home, guests are greeted by a grand wooden staircase, which sweeps into the living area
Plenty of space: Thanks to the pleasant climate, the property includes lost of outdoor and indoor – and blended – living space
Outside, guests can enjoy the sports court, pool and putting green or, if they’re more in the mood for culinary delights than sporty pursuits, they can make use of the outdoor kitchen.
The star had initially placed the estate on the market last year, but withdrew it without explanation back in May.
Interestingly, while Selena bought the home through Jonah Hill’s father, she also purchased the Moneyball actor’s Calabasas property after she decided to put down roots in Los Angeles.
The singer and actress recently rekindled her romance with 23-year-old Justin Bieber, soon after her relationship with The Weeknd, 27, came to an abrupt end.
In October, Selena claimed she parted from her then-boyfriend the Starboy hitmaker as ‘best friends’ when she addressed their break-up in an interview with Billboard.
Of their split, she said: ‘I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring for each other, and that was pretty remarkable for me.’
Not long following the end of her 10-month relationship with the Canadian crooner, former flame Justin stepped back into her life.
Selena explained: ‘I’m 25. I’m not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really impacted my life. So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn’t right. But that doesn’t mean caring for someone ever goes away.’
Now a few months later, it seems the on-off couple are going stronger than ever as the pair have both ‘changed’.
A source told People this month: ‘Their relationship is very special. They have both changed, their lives are so different and it seems things could work out great this time round.
‘They have both hugely matured. Justin is very supportive of Selena. The pair are together in Los Angeles now and Selena seems very happy.’
In recent days, the pop star was seen cheering on her beau as Justin raced around an ice rink for an intense game of hockey.
Sparks initially flew when the lovebirds started dating back in 2011 and they dated on-and-off, before they called it quits after three years.
Justin has been romantically linked to a bevy of beauties in the past, including Hayley Baldwin, Sofia Ritchie and Madison Beer.
