Adele’s voice slowed down sounds EXACTLY like Sam Smith’s

They are both award-winning singing sensations with iconic voices – but a new clip has revealed something rather startling about Sam Smith and Adele.

A post by @jesse21valona revealed that when Adele’s hit track Hello, is played on vinyl and slowed down on a record player, it sounds just like Sam’s voice.

The clip garnered around 4million views, with conspiracy theorists going as far as to claim the two artists are secretly the same person.

They wrote: ‘Mate. they’re never seen together at the same event. they’re British legends, sing the same genre. legit I’m telling you. *x-files theme tune*.’

‘It all adds up. I just googled to find a picture of them together. There is non!’

‘I think they are the same person!’

Now this is awkward: Sam has previously bashed suggestions that he is comparable to Adele

‘That’s why they haven’t done a duet live!!’

Several followers also shared memes which portrayed how shocked they were by the revelation and included references to the Illuminati.

There are lots of similarities between British artists, Sam, 25 and Adele, 29, who have both lent their vocals to Bond theme tunes.

They have both nabbed BRITS Critics Choice Awards, Billboard Awards and multiple Grammys, write about heartache and achieved global success at a young age.

Could it BE? Fans started speculating that Sam and Adele are in fact the same person

However, Sam previously told Rolling Stone that he can’t bear the comparisons he gets with Adele.

He said: ‘It just annoys me that people can’t digest two pop stars singing really personal songs who don’t look like normal pop stars.’

He also told the Daily Telegraph back in 2014, ‘I’m a very different artist to Adele. I can see the similarities in the honesty of lyrics but I also understand that people need to compare things to digest music which is OK.

‘If I am going to be compared to anyone in the world, that is an amazing comparison.’

SHOOK! The clip led to a host of memes that were created as people could not get past what they had heard
