Ex-dominatrix fired from New Jersey sheriff’s department

A New Jersey police officer has been fired because she previously appeared in bondage films as a dominatrix.

Kristen Hyman, 31, has been fighting to keep her job at the Hudson County sheriff’s department ever since she was suspended last May when they learned of her dominatrix history.

Sheriff Frank Schillari told The Jersey Journal that a hearing officer made the decision to fire Hyman on Wednesday.

Schillari said he agreed with the decision.

Kristen Hyman, 31, was fired from the Hudson County sheriff’s department in New Jersey on Wednesday after they learned of her dominatrix history

The department suspended Hyman without pay on May 26 – just six days before her graduation ceremony – after they accused her of conduct unbecoming of a public employee.

They said she failed to disclose that she appeared in the films, which were shot between 2008 and 2012, and sometimes saw clients privately for money.

Court documents show Hyman told investigators she never appeared naked and did not perform sex acts in the videos.

Hyman called the videos ‘stupid stuff I did when I was a kid.’

In some clips seen by DailyMail.com, she is seen kicking naked men in the testicles, choking a man in a swimming pool, and putting her heels on the face of a man in a leather mask.

Sometimes she even provided her own costumes, many of which she purchased off the rack at Party City.

She said that violent acts seen in some recordings were staged and that she was merely an actress.

Hyman also noted that she didn’t use her real name during her four-year career in the fetish trade and would use her latex-clad alter-ego, ‘Domina Nyx Blake’.

Her lawyers had argued that it was wrong to suspend her before a disciplinary hearing. The suspension was rescinded by a judge and Hyman was sworn into the academy June 8.

She then went on paid administrative leave pending the hearing.

A lawyer who previously represented Hyman said he is no longer involved in the case.
