Viral YouTube celebrity Tanya Hennessy has weighed in on the Barnaby Joyce debate, referring to the embattled Deputy PM as a ‘loose unit’ after meeting him in a pub.
When asked about her thoughts on Mr Joyce – who is expecting his fifth child with a former staffer – the star told The Morning Show hosts she met the 50-year-old politician and took a photograph with him before stealing his phone and sending a Tweet.
‘He is a loose unit. I don’t know much about politics but I met him in a pub and I borrowed his phone and took a photograph of us and tweeted from his account that he had met me and I was hilarious and he left it on his Twitter. He is loose,’ Ms Hennessy said.

The three-year-old photo in question appears to have been deleted by Mr Joyce.
Ms Hennessy also criticised Mr Joyce for his attempts at keeping his private life out of the public domain after he was grilled by journalist Leigh Sales about his relationship with former staffer Vicki Campion.
‘For the privacy thing, you are Deputy Prime Minister. If you want to keep something private, you pretty much can’t,’ she said.
‘It is a 24-hour news cycle. He should probably speak to Kylie Jenner, she kept her pregnancy secret for 10 months, have a chat with her.’
When Ms Sales asked Mr Joyce if his relationship with Ms Campion started while she was a paid member of staff, he dodged the question and said his private life was not in the public interest.

‘What I want to do is make sure private matters remain private, I don’t think it profits anybody to drag private matters out into the public arena,’ he said.
Mr Joyce is expecting a baby with his 33-year-old former staffer, two months after announcing he had separated from his wife of 24-years.
Mr Joyce is in a relationship with Ms Campion, his former media advisor, and has fallen ‘madly in love’, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Mr Joyce and wife Natalie have four daughters, aged in their late teens and early 20s, from their 24-year marriage.

Ms Campion worked as Mr Joyce’s media advisor before she moved into a more senior role with Resources Minister Matt Canavan in April last year.
She later worked for Nationals chief parliamentary Whip Damian Drum but was left without a job when Mr Drum changed roles and became Assistant Minister to Deputy Prime Minister Joyce.
Meanwhile, Barnaby Joyce’s ‘devastated’ wife has claimed that the Deputy Prime Minister had a months-long affair with Ms Campion.
Natalie Joyce said she felt ‘deceived’ by the news that Ms Campion was pregnant with her husband’s fifth child and claimed the extramarital fling began when she was a paid staffer.
In a statement, a ‘hurt’ Mrs Joyce claimed her husband’s affair went on for months, while she was sacrificing her own career to support him.
