‘I want my bacon cooked on the grill thanks not in the microwave.

‘Time to boycott this un-Australian s*** box.’

Halal-friendly McDonald’s stores across NSW, ACT, Western Australia and Victoria use halal bacon which is microwaved to keep it away from the grill where other meat is cooked.

The aggravated customer told Daily Mail Australia that cross contamination would still happen in the kitchens.

‘Are there not pig remnants in the utensils being used?’ he said.

‘Why do Australian people have to change our way of life because of a minority, it’s bulls***.’

McDonald’s responded to one of the Facebook posts explaining that cooking halal bacon on the same grill that chicken or beef is cooked on would defeat the purpose.

‘All bacon served in these restaurants only will be cooked in the microwave as bacon cannot share the grill with our chicken or beef products in these restaurants,’ the franchise wrote.
