Victorian Lucas Herbert has shot to a share of the lead of the World Super 6 Perth golf tournament at Lake Karrinyup.
Herbert is eight-under after 10 holes of his second round, alongside Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Brett Rumford.
Rumford was the overnight leader after shooting an eight-under 64 on Thursday.
The defending champion will tee off in his second round at 12pm WST on Friday.
England’s Sam Horsfield sits in second spot at seven-under, while former world No.1 Lee Westwood (six-under) will tee off later today.
One-time major winner Danny Willett appears certain to miss the halfway cut, with the 2016 Masters winner at five-over with just six holes to play in his second round.
After three rounds of traditional stroke play, the top 24 players will qualify for the final-round match play component, where they go head-to-head in a series of six-hole shootouts.
