And Christian Wilkins dished out his honest fashion critiques of Nine’s latest Married At First Sight contestants on Thursday.
Speaking on the official show’s podcast, Talking Married, he revealed his favourite looks of the week… and slammed one groom for his choice of footwear.

The media personality was given his own segment on the podcast, titled ‘Assess The Dress’, where he pointed out the best and worst looks of the week.
Christian, the son of Today’s entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins, gushed over bride Melissa’s wedding gown.
He complimented the 53-year-old, saying: ‘I’m pretty sure she’s the oldest bride we have on the show, and I just thought she looked so beautiful, so age-appropriate. She looked stunning in that dress and I just thought it hugged her in all the right places and really played up to her best assets.’

Describing the dress, he said: ‘A little bit slinky up the top, it was a bit tight and figure-hugging and then from the thighs down, there was a lot of drama and a lot of ruffles, and I love a bit of drama.’
Gabrielle’s groom didn’t get a raving review for his look though, with Christian finding fault with his op-shop bought shoes.
‘Your wedding day is not the time for suede desert boots!’ he exclaimed, adding: ‘It’s your wedding day, put on some proper shoes.’
He insisted: ‘I want a shoe, I don’t want a boot, I don’t want them to be suede. They shouldn’t be a desert boot, especially.’
