Channel Nine reporter Dimity Clancey has shared a footage of herself confronting a man who she saw loitering in the parents room while she was breastfeeding.
The young mother-of-two, from Sydney, said she was shopping with her family when she needed to use the feeding room for her children.
As she was nursing her baby, the journalist said she noticed the man wondering around the room alone until he was escorted out by a security guard.
Speaking out about the ordeal on 9Honey, the video shows the outraged mother pressing the accused man on why he walked into the feeding room alone.

‘Mate, what were you doing in there? Excuse me, I’m a concerned mother who was feeding my child in there, what were you doing inside that room?’ Clancey said in the video.
‘Do you have anything to say to all the mothers? Do you have anything to say to all the mothers who go in there with their children? Their innocent children?
‘It’s no okay. What have you got to say to yourself mate? It’s not okay. How do you think that makes mothers feel? You’ve got nothing to say to yourself?
‘Do you have children mate? Do you know how that would make a mother feel? It’s disgusting, don’t you think?’

During the confrontation, the man can be heard saying ‘having a rest’ when Clancey asked him why he was in the room.
Clancey followed the man through the department store as she demanded to know why he was in the room after she was told by a staff member that it wasn’t the first time he entered on his own.
‘I didn’t continue to chase him down as a journalist, but as an outraged, concerned mother who should have been able to attend to her baby’s needs in privacy and away from any public prying eyes,’ she said.

The mother said she felt a sense of guilt – but her emotions quickly turned to anger when she confronted him over his actions.
‘I share this experience unaware of what the man was doing in that closed feeding room – whether he was innocent, or whether his actions sadly illustrate that parent rooms can also be a playground for predators,’ she said.
‘Let my encounter not only be a warning but a reminder to everyone: if you’re not a mum, dad or carer who’s already made the very brave decision to go shopping with your children in tow, then the parents’ room is not for you.’
