Queen Letizia of Spain at engagement at Zarzuela Palace

Queen Letizia of Spain looked chic in leopard-print as she attended an art prize presentation today.

The 45-year-old royal showed off her toned legs in the knee-length skirt, which she paired with a sleek black top.

Letizia hosted the presentation of the Tomas Francisco Prieto prize, which celebrates the work of a young artist, at Zarzuela Palace, her royal residence in Madrid.

She was not joined by husband King Felipe at the event.

The mother-of-two donned a monochrome leopard print skirt for the occasion, elongating her slender legs with a pair of classic court shoes.

She teamed it with a black top that featured a neck tie detail and fell to her hips, skimming her trim figure.

Keeping her accessories understated, she opted for a pair of drop earrings, wearing her brunette hair in a sleek side parting.

Letizia was seen posing with students of Masters in Media of Graphic Printing, Illustration and Artistic Coinmaking at the event.

She appeared in good spirits as she shared a joke with them before taking a picture.

The event saw Queen Letizia presented with a limited edition medal created by a budding young artist.
