Commuter appears to snap three IDENTICAL businessmen

  • Passenger Joe Oliver took the photo on a service from Peterborough to London
  • He says it was intended to show his friends how crammed the carriages were
  • But he seems to have snapped three strikingly similar sleeping businessmen

This picture shows the bizarre moment a train passenger appeared to photograph three near-identical businessmen sleeping through the morning commute.

Commuter Joe Oliver says he snapped the snoozing men on the 7:57 service from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, to King’s Cross in London.

Each of the men are sat in aisle seats with their eyes closed and heads back as they nap.

Mr Oliver said he took the photo to show his friends how busy the train was, according to The Sun, snapping the men by mistake on January 10.

‘Most commutes are bad but this one must be one of the worst,’ he said. ‘A lot of the time you have to stand in the aisle like sardines for 45 minutes, for £25 each day.

‘It wasn’t until after I’d taken the photo that I realised how much the guys in it looked alike.’

Mr Oliver had been in South America for four months and took the picture on his first morning commute back in England.

He said he wanted to show his friends ‘how much of a drainer’ his first day back on the train was, adding he did not mean to photograph the men specifically.
