In the past, bench pressing a personal best or running that extra couple of miles on the treadmill was about as exciting as it got for most gym goers.
But as it turns out, getting sweaty could actually do a whole lot more to get the blood pumping than a simple round of cardio, because the gym has now been revealed as one of the places that people are most likely to meet their significant other.
In a new survey conducted by MyProtein, it was revealed that over 85 per cent of people admit to feeling flattered by romantic attention at the gym, which could well account for the fact that the fitness-focused location is responsible for more romances than actual dating apps.
