Elon Musk was decked out head-to-toe in silver spikes and chains for a Silicone Valley ‘sex party’ he attended last year, an author has claimed in her new book.
The Tesla billionaire wore a ‘black armor-like costumed adorned with silver spikes and chains,’ to the event hosted by venture capitalist Steve Jurvetson in 2017, Emily Chang writes in ‘Brotopia.’
Google’s president Sergey Brin also turned up to the bash ‘bare-chested and in a vest,’ Chang wrote, according to Page Six.
Chang said private Facebook photos taken during the party, which had an ‘Edge of the Earth’ theme, show Musk and Brin in their full, bizarre costumes.
It was first reported that Musk attended Jurvetson’s controversial shindig in January.
His representatives told Page Six at the time that the entrepreneur’s ‘impression was that it was a corporate party with a costume theme, not a “sex party.”‘
‘Elon was at the party for a couple hours and left around 1am,’ his representative explained.

Musk also blasted the allegations that it was a sex party in a statement last month, telling WIRED there was ‘zero sex or nudity anywhere.’
‘If you want wild parties, you’re in the wrong place,’ he said, calling the party ‘boring and corporate.’
Jurvetson was ousted from his venture capital firm DFJ over sexual misconduct allegations in November 2017, which he denies.

And when news of the party spread, the company issued a company statement to say that behavior does not meet their company culture.
DFJ said they were ‘dismayed to learn of behavior at the party that was completely at odds with DFJ’s culture, which has, and will continue to be, been built on the values of respect and integrity.
‘We would never want anyone to feel uncomfortable and we are sorry if that happened.’
The company also suggested the party played a role in his ousting from DFJ late last year.
A Jurvetson representative said the party is something he’s hosted annually for at least three years, suggesting DFJ knew about it already.
Chang also wrote about a San Francisco strip club frequented by high-power techies from Apple, Uber, Twitter, Dropbox and Airbnb.
A dancer at Gold Club told her that the men often visited during lunch, and that employees call it ‘Conference Room G.’
A female CEO also told Chang she was once taken there at the end of a job interview with one of the companies.
