A lucky pup had a miraculous escape when it was tossed inside a garbage truck as piles of rubbish were dumped on top of him.
Footage of the harrowing moment in Ipswich, Queensland, was released by the RSPCA on Wednesday as the pet narrowly misses the crusher.
Inspectors nicknamed the little dog Tippie following the ordeal and now believe he was deliberately thrown in the bin.
The fortunate pooch was tipped inside the garbage truck and is lucky to be alive, RSPCA said
Vision showing his terrifying fight to survive reveals he fell out of a red bin into the truck along with a normal load of household waste.
It has now been released along with an appeal for information from the RSPCA.
The dog is forced to ride torrents of rubbish and desperately tries to scramble his way to the top of the truck to jump out.
But he is repeatedly battered as more and more rubbish pours in on top of him.
Workers later discovered the Jack Russell terrier wrapped and tangled in rubbish with his feet bound at the Willowbank landfill site around 20 minutes out of Ipswich in south Queensland.
Piles of rubbish were tipped on top of poor Zoro, who has been nicknamed Tippie by RSPCA staff in Queensland
They initially thought he had been tied up but RSPCA inspectors have concluded he got tangled up in the rubbish and debris.
They later found the CCTV footage from the truck he was trapped inside as the awful video shows little Tippie fighting for his life trying to get out.
Zoro, the dog’s real name, had been missing for a few days and his owners said they had found him gone after returning home from football practice.
‘We are absolutely shattered at what has happened,’ owner Leigh Henderson told the Queensland Times.
He was later found by workers at the nearby landfill site in Willowbank, around 20 minutes from Ipswich
‘We came home from taking my son to football practice and saw he was gone. He’s very much loved.
‘We drove around everywhere but it was dark and hard to see because it was late.’
The RSPCA is now calling on anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact their investigation team.
‘How he survived is nothing short of a miracle,’ said RSPCA Queensland’s Michael Beatty.
‘Everyone originally thought that he had been tied up and thrown in a bag, but it’s now apparent that he was badly entangled in debris.

‘It appears that he was hurled in with the bin contents and then whirled around with the rubbish as the crusher blade comes down again and again.
‘No one can believe he’s still alive.’
The dog is now being looked after by the RSPCA while he makes a recovery and is due to have surgery on a hip injury suffered during his ordeal, 7News reported.
The RSPCA said his owners are now regularly visiting Zoro while he is treated.
