A man has died after a J.J. Richards garbage truck crashed into a business in Brisbane’s inner-north on Wednesday.
The driver in his 40s was trapped inside the truck after the horror smash, and despite efforts from emergency crews he died at the scene.
Part of the building is believed to have fallen on the truck when it crashed into a camping supplies store on the corner of Lutwyche Road and Northey Street at Windsor.

Five people were inside the store when it crashed about 9.35am on Wednesday.
Two were taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
Emergency crews are working to stabilise the building and retrieve the deceased.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
