Flynn, the fluffy Bichon Frise, who was named top dog at NYC’s Westminster Dog Show has trotted onto Broadway as part of a victory tour.
The pooch took home Best in Show at the 142nd Westminster Dog Show Tuesday night and on Wednesday evening he was on his way to becoming a Broadway star.
Flynn made an impromptu appearance at Kinky Boots. Actor Daniel Stewart Sherman joined the fuzzy newly-minted thespian on stage, but said that Flynn was the only star of the show that night.
‘It doesn’t matter what I say once they see the dog. They’ll go crazy,’ Sherman said during a quick rehearsal.

The pup’s busy day included appearances on Good Morning America, Fox and Friends and The View, in addition to trips to One World Trade Center, Rockefeller Center, and the Empire State Building.
Flynn took home the top prize at the 142nd Westminster Dog Show in New York City sporting a fluffy coat that looked like a cross between a cloud and cottonballs after showing off his jaunty walk and happy demeanor.
Seven finalists made the final round, one champion from each group. The groups are terriers, toy dogs, working dogs, herding dogs, sporting dogs, non-sporting dogs, and hounds. Flynn had won the non-sporting group.

Ty the giant schnauzer finished second in the competition. The other finalists included Lucy the borzoi, Biggie the pug, Slick the border collie, Bean the Sussex spaniel and Winston the Norfolk terrier.
‘It feels a little unreal,’ Flynn’s owner Bill McFadden, told to The New York Times.
‘I came in expecting nothing and just hoping for a good performance and I think I got it.’
McFadden has been showing the Bichon Frise breed at Westminster since 1991.
McFadden also added that Flynn will likely retire from the dog show circuit following his win. He will turn 6 in March.
‘I’d have to ask the owners, but I’m pretty sure I can drop the mic and say he’s retired,’ McFadden told Fox Sports.
