Sadio Mane put in a sterling performance as he netted a hat-trick to fire Liverpool to a 5-0 victory in their last-16 first leg Champions League tie with Porto on Wednesday evening.
The Senegal international was terrific throughout the 90 minutes and terrorised the Porto defence along with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah in Liverpool’s three-man attack.
But the 25-year did have a moment to forget after Firmino scored to put the visitors 4-0 up during the second half.

The Brazilian is well known to put a samba touch on his goal celebrations but this time opted for something a bit different.
He jumped up in the air and performed two spinning kung-fu kicks before embracing his team-mates.

It quickly done the rounds on social media with Liverpool fans reacting to the hilarious footage.
One fan wrote on Twitter it ‘might be the greatest thing’ they have ever seen.
Liverpool fans certainly won’t contest that it was one of the greatest showings from their side in an away European tie for some time and Mane was the star of the show.
His three goals saw him become only the second Liverpool player to net a treble away from home in Europe, following Michael Owen who scored hat-tricks at Haka in 2001 and Spartak Moscow in 2002.
After the match the 25-year-old forward revealed his stunning performance was inspired by a pep-talk from Jamie Carragher.
After the game Mane revealed his man-of-the-match display was inspired by Jamie Carragher
‘He (Carragher) is my good friend,’ Mane told Norwegian channel Viasport.
‘At half-time he told me to score more goals. I tried and, as a team, luckily I got three goals today and I’m happy.’
The emphatic victory means Liverpool are effectively through to the quarter-final of the Champions League already and will solidify that spot in the second leg at Anfield in three weeks’ time bar an unlikely disaster.
