Wayne retweeted his wife’s post alongside a message of congratulations from his club Everton.

The footballer stayed behind on Wednesday as the rest of the Everton squad flew out to Dubai for warm weather training.

Wayne, 32, and Coleen, 31, have only recently repaired their nine year marriage, after it was rocked by cheating scandals during the pregnancy.

It was on Facebook, just three months ago, that Coleen was forced to issue a statement about the status of her marriage, saying she ‘thought it might have been at an end’.

Following months of speculation about a relationship breakdown, she set the record straight and confirmed that she had put her wedding ring back on, and forgiven Wayne’s ‘selfish mistakes’ yet again.

‘I know I would be fine on my own,’ she wrote. ‘With just me and my children, but I don’t want to live like that, I want to try and continue our marriage and live as a family, because that’s what I want to do.

‘I’m not saying everything is fine and forgotten about, but we are as good as can be at this point, I’m not the type of person to put a show on and say we’re all loved-up….I’m just real.’

Insisting she is a ‘strong person’ and doesn’t need people to feel sorry for her, Coleen set the record straight once and for all about her marriage.

She continued: ‘A few people are probably thinking am stupid for staying in my marriage. I am not stupid, I know my own mind and it’s something I want to try and work on.

‘Before the headlines start…. No, I’m not taking Wayne back as he’s never left.

Coleen shared her love for her husband and boys a day before the birth announcement with a sweet Valentine’s photo.

She wrote on Twitter: ‘Happy Valentine’s Day to my Boys… have a good one everybody.’

The sunny portrait – illustrated with bright, smiling love hearts – showed Wayne carrying Kit, while their bigger boys stood beside him.

Coleen and Wayne ran into trouble last September when he was stopped by police for being intoxicated behind the wheel of a car with a brazen party girl, who later said she would have ‘slept’ with the footballer if they had not been stopped.

After accepting a two-year driving ban and 100-hours of unpaid community service, Wayne issued a public apology for his ‘unforgivable lack of judgment’.

Coleen and Wayne have put on a united front in recent weeks, with the WAG supporting her husband and Everton matches while they celebrated son Kit’s second birthday as a family in January.

Sharing a snap of her three boys in front of Kit’s cake, Coleen gushed to followers: ‘Happy Birthday to my Baby!! 2 today!! What a character you are becoming We love you so much Kit xxx’.

Proud dad Wayne also took to his Instagram page to document the celebrations, with a sweet image of the three tots cosied up.

They drew on her love of fitness to send her to a spin class in her final trimester of pregnancy.

Wayne and Coleen have been together since they were both 16, and went on to marry in Portofino, Italy, in 2008.

Days before revealing her pregnancy last year Coleen said she could picture having a daughter in the future but she wasn’t ‘desperate’.

‘I can imagine having a girl. I’ve got a massive family so I’m around girls as well as having boys myself,’ she said in an interview with new! Magazine.

‘I’m not desperate, but a girl would be nice as part of the family.’

In another interview Coleen insisted she was perfectly happy being the only girl in the house, explaining: ‘People go on about, “Don’t you want a girl?” but I’m not desperate for a girl. It would be nice if I did have one, but the boys are great. I quite like being the only girl in the house and I’m happy with what I’ve got.’

Speaking to Metro, she again played down wanting a girl saying: ‘I don’t think you can try for a girl. You can try for a baby and whether you have a girl or a boy is a different matter. I don’t know our plans of what we want to do, but I wouldn’t be desperate for a girl.

‘Whether I did have another one, I wouldn’t mind whatsoever.’
