Identical twin boys propose to identical twin girls

Identical twin brothers brought a whole new meaning to the idea of a special ‘twin connection’ when they proposed to identical twin sisters at the exact same time.

Josh and Jeremy Salyers, 34-year-old twins from Tennessee, met their respective fiances, Brittany and Briana Deane, both 31, at the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio, last August, and their romance very quickly blossomed from there, with all four feeling an instant connection from the moment they met.

The two sets of siblings, who regularly dress in matching outfits and will likely marry in the same ensembles, even plan on having a joint wedding ceremony, and want to live together in a single house after they tie they knot.

Brittany and Briana, both 31, thought they were filming a commercial with their boyfriends on February 2 when they headed to Twin Lakes State Park in Virginia, the site of their first date with the brothers.

The two sisters were decked out in matching cerulean dresses and white shrugs, while their boyfriends donned cerulean ties and matching gray suits.

Brittany and Briana had no idea that the film crew they were working with was actually from Inside Edition until the end of the shoot.

After posing together at several scenic spots at the state park, the twins were led to a pavilion featuring a fireplace that was decorated with rose petals and candles.

For the final shot, Josh and Jeremy both dropped down on one knee and presented the girls with matching engagement rings after the director yelled, ‘Action!’

Brittany and Brianna were stunned and happily shouted, ‘Yes!’ at the same time.

‘We’re the luckiest twins in the world,’ the sisters told Inside Edition.

Brittany was the first to spot the ‘handsome’ brothers at the Twins Days Festival last year, and they struck up a conversation with them at their hotel the next day.

‘We struck up a conversation about their twin relationship and life, and we found out they were very similar to us,’ Josh told The News Journal.

‘I was instantly drawn to Brittany. We actually stayed a little longer to try and talk with them some more.’

Although initially spending time together as a foursome, the couples eventually paired off in birth order.

However they insist that the romances between the two older siblings – the twin As – and the younger of the pairs – the twin Bs – happened naturally, with Jeremy and Briana instantly connecting while their slightly younger siblings bonded.

‘It was one of the most magical moments,’ Briana said. ‘For me, it went in like slow motion, like a movie. We all believe in soulmates and we all felt that instant connection.’

Josh and Jeremy work in the same manufacturing plant in Hagerstown, Maryland, and they admitted that they had always hoped to marry another set of twins.

Josh explained that other women just didn’t understand the relationship he had with his brother, but they weren’t the only ones set on marrying twins.

‘Ever since we were little girls, we have always known that there were identical twin boys who were going to marry us one day,’ Briana said.

Like their future spouses, Briana and Brittany work at the same law firm in Virginia. They attended different law schools, with Brittany in Wyoming and Briana in Texas, but neither of them liked being apart.

Josh and Jeremy have also lived separately for a short period of time, and like their future wives, they didn’t enjoy it.

The couples are having a double wedding in Twinsburg during the Twins Days Festival with the plan of having all the twins and multiples at the festival attend their nuptials.

Brittany and Briana have already started looking for matching wedding dresses with their mom, and the couples plan on living in a house together after they say ‘I do.’
