Horrifying footage has emerged of bodies lying in pools of blood as hysterical students cower nearby after the Florida high school gunman stormed in and opened fire.
The disturbing videos and images were taken by students inside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Wednesday when Nikolas Cruz shot dead 17 people.
Images taken from one student’s cellphone video show a girl’s lifeless body lying in the middle of a classroom in a pool of blood.
Police can be seen carrying a different female student from the classroom as a number of terrified, sobbing students follow the officer cautiously to safety.

The students were forced to run through the blood-streaked halls to get outside the building, passing by several other lifeless bodies and discarded backpacks.
It is one of the many shocking videos to emerge in the aftermath of the shooting massacre that shows the terror that unfolded when the gunman stormed into the school armed with an assault rifle.
In footage taken by another student, the sound of gunfire echoed out across the room as ear-piercing screams rang out. Students could be seen scrambling and crouching to the floor, while a male student close by screamed: ‘Oh my God, oh my God. Oh my God’.
They were among the dozens of students and teachers who desperately tried to seek shelter as the gunman walked the halls shooting into classrooms as he went along.
Photographs shared by those in lock down showed them hiding under desks and chairs.
Another video showed students literally shaking with fear as heavily armed police entered their classrooms and ordered them to put their hands up.
Several students shared detailed descriptions of what was happening in real time on social media as the shooter went classroom to classroom.

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel revealed late on Thursday that the suspected gunman fired into a total of five classrooms before dropping his rifle and fleeing on foot.
He said the shooter fired into three rooms on the first floor, then went back and fired again into two of those rooms. The gunman fired into one other room on that floor before moving to the second floor and shooting one person in a classroom there.
The sheriff said the gunman then dropped his rifle and backpack containing extra ammunition and ran out of the school.
Cruz told investigators that as students began to flee, he decided to discard his AR-15 rifle and a vest he was wearing so he could blend in with the crowd. Police recovered the rifle and the vest.
The 19-year-old faced court on Thursday dressed in an orange jump suit with shackles on his wrists and ankles as he was officially charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder.
