Roxy Jacenko reveals she won’t be able to have more kids

She battled breast cancer in 2016 while her husband Oliver Curtis was serving a jail sentence.

And Roxy Jacenko has revealed it would be ‘very unlikely’ that the now reunited couple could have any more kids due to her illness.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Friday, Roxy explained how radiation therapy and taking cancer-blocking drug tamoxifen had likely messed up her body.

Roxy said she felt lucky to have been able to have a girl and a boy – Pixie, six, and Hunter, three – but wouldn’t be trying for another child.

‘I would say it would be very unlikely that I would even be able to now because of the radiation therapy I had, and the tamoxifen which I am on now for breast cancer,’ she explained.

The PR queen also revealed that she had been given the opportunity by doctors to store embryos prior to commencing cancer treatment.

But Roxy had been had been unable to prepare a contingency plan due to Oliver being in prison at the time.

‘When I was diagnosed with breast cancer one of the first things they said to me was you should store embryos – well obviously storing embryos wasn’t going to be a possibility because you need the other part to make the embryo,’ Roxy said.

Roxy was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2016, mere weeks after husband Oliver was sentenced to 12 months in prison for insider trading.

Documenting her treatment during an interview with 60 Minutes, Roxy underwent radiation therapy and had a partial mastectomy.

Last October she revealed she had another breast cancer scare after discovering yet another lump.

Fortunately it was declared benign by doctors after a biopsy.

In December Roxy underwent breast reconstruction surgery after getting capsular contracture as a result of her cancer treatment.
