OZTAM figures for Wednesday night show the Channel Nine show smashed the competition with more than 1.2 million viewers, beating onetime ratings juggernaut My Kitchen Rules.

1,240,000 national metro viewers tuned in to watch the showdown between Dean Wells and Ryan Gallagher over the alpha male’s affair with Davina Rankin.
The show had a strong lead over My Kitchen Rules which only had an audience of 1,076,000.
The Channel Seven cooking show’s popularity appears to be waning after eight seasons of ratings dominance.

The numbers are slightly up on Tuesday night audience of 489,000, when the Oldfields made their jungle debut.
However the figures do not match up to the 1.27 million viewers I’m A Celebrity scored when it premiered last month.
Ten has defended the plummet in ratings in a statement to News Corp which read: ‘[I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!] is one of the most talked about television shows in 2018 and has enjoyed an average total audience of 864,000 capital city viewers this year.’
