Tributes have been paid to a ‘loving and brilliant’ 21-year-old mother who was stabbed to death.
Laura Huteson was found dead at a house in Orchard Park, Hull, before a half-naked man covered in blood allegedly ran out into the street and rolled around in the snow.
Her partner of five years, Benjamin Guy, said he was heartbroken following her death as he ‘loved her more than anything’.
Ms Huteson was found dead inside the house on Tuesday.
Witnesses claimed they saw a naked man running out of the house just before police arrived.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of her murder on Tuesday and remains in police custody.
Mr Guy, 26, paid tribute to his former partner, saying ‘life will never be the same again’ without her.
‘She was the best person I ever met,’ he said. ‘She was my everything. I don’t think I can live without her. She was my everything and always will be.
‘I hope she is somewhere happy because she deserves happiness more than anyone.’

Mr Guy and Ms Huteson enjoyed spending lots of time together and would go to the cinema every week. They were also planning on moving in together.
‘We went to the cinema last Saturday,’ Mr Guy said. ‘Our hobbies were each other but we went to the cinema every week. Our favourite films were the Kingsman films.’
Ms Huteson is believed to have grown up in Bransholme before moving to the Orchard Park estate.
Paiige Harron, one of Ms Huteson’s best friends, described her as a ‘loving and brilliant’ mum to her young son.
Miss Harron, 18, said: ‘She was like my sister, she was just always there for me. She was a brilliant and loving mum to her son, this is going to destroy him.
‘We have been best mates for nine years. Ms Huteson went to school with my nieces and that’s how we became friends.
‘She was a brilliant friend, just always there, even if I needed to ring her in the middle of the night she would answer and chat to me.
‘She loved going out with her friends up town, but most of all she loved spending time with her son and family.’
Miss Harron says her family and friends are devastated by what has happened.
She said: ‘What has happened is devastating, I don’t know what to do now we have lost her. It’s broke my heart. I have lost my world.
‘She was a brilliant mum to her son. She loved to take him to the park and have lots of fun.’
Miss Harron now lives in York, but would still travel to see Ms Huteson every other Weekend.
‘I saw her the weekend before last and she was just so happy with her life,’ she said. ‘This is just devastating.’

Ms Huteson’s friend Tiffany Clegg described her as ‘one in a million’.
She said: ‘Laura was one in a million, there was no other like her, especially with her cheeky smile and the way she spoke, just everything. She will always be my number one girl. I love you Laura my darling.’

Friend Lauren Johnson described the mum-of-one as ‘smart and beautiful’.
She said: ‘She was a good mum and a smart, beautiful young lass. I can’t believe she has gone but she will never be forgotten and will always be in my heart. My thoughts go to her family.’
Humberside Police are continuing their investigations into Ms Huteson’s death.
A house at the centre of the investigation in Milldane remains cordoned off by police.
A blue forensic tent also remains at the scene.
Three bunches of yellow flowers have been laid on the floor at the entrance to the house.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Goulding, who is leading the inquiry, said: ‘Our investigation into Laura’s death continues today and we are still keen to hear from anyone who was in the area between 8am and 9.30am, who saw or heard anything unusual.
‘Our thoughts remain with Laura’s family and friends, and specialist members of my team are continuing to support them.’
