Kenneth Bachman, ordered an Uber XL from Morgantown, West Virginia, all the way to his Sewell, New Jersey, home on Friday. The trip is around 300 miles and the bill came out to $1,635.93.
‘I was just like…that’s crazy why did you agree to take me to New Jersey from West Virginia?’ he said to CBS Philly.

The Backwood, New Jersey, native had been hanging with friends near West Virginia University’s campus.
Bachman ordered a Uber ride home – not to his memory – and fell asleep while inside the vehicle.
‘We went to a frat party and then went to the bar. I was getting drinks all night; I probably spent like $200 at the bar after already drinking all day,’ Bachman added.
‘Basically, I kinda just blacked out. The last thing I remember was being at the bar and then I just woke up in the Uber next to an older dude telling me I was an hour out from Jersey.’

He awoke next to a man driving and claims the driver took a Facetime call but he ultimately had to pay the fare
The man wasn’t aware of the price for the trip until he made it to his destination.
And because he had completed the trip, he had no choice but to pay for the entire thing.
A breakdown of the trip found the following: a $3.94 base fare, plus $2.35 booking fee, $696.95 for distance and $115 for time. He also had t pay for tolls because the driver didn’t have cash.
Bachman said: ‘I’m heading back to West Virginia this weekend to pick up my bags so if you guys see me say, ‘what’s up!’
Bachman tried to challenge the Uber and even claimed that the driver answered a call on his Facetime.
But Bachman doesn’t plan on staying in New Jersey for long.
