But Samantha X, real name Amanda Goff, says she is giving her new wardrobe a second thought after injuring herself while wearing activewear on Friday.
The author and former escort shared a photo of her injured hand and leg to Instagram, revealing she had fallen over while running.

The social media snap showed Amanda sporting bandages, writing in the caption that she was sticking to ‘high heels and dresses’ in the future.
Amanda said the injury had happened while she was carrying her dog Little May.
‘I was running across the road to the dog park with my dog in my arms and fell over my feet. I just sat and cried for about 10 minutes – more so the shock than anything else,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

Amanda’s injury comes after she celebrated her 44th birthday last week.
The former escort commemorated the occasion by sharing a candid selfie with her Instagram followers on Friday, revealing she now rarely wore makeup.

Alongside the makeup free photo Amanda revealed she had learnt to stop caring what people thought of her.
‘No filter, a few wrinkles, can’t be bothered the make up these days, who cares!’ Amanda captioned the photo.

Amanda’s birthday post comes after her highly publicised split with Ryan in January.
The former couple confirmed their romance last November after Amanda revealed she had left the escort industry, despite being one of Australia’s highest paid sex workers.
However their romance was short lived, with Amanda confirming last month that she and Ryan had parted ways.
‘Ryan and I have decided to end our relationship,’ she revealed. ‘The love was very deep between us, but sometimes love isn’t enough.’

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia last month Amanda said the door was firmly closed on her returning to the escort industry.
‘While I miss certain aspects of escorting, the door (to a return to the industry) is firmly closed,’ she said.
‘Escorting gives you freedom and flexibility, away from the constraints of a “normal job” and while that was exciting and fun, my needs have changed. I’m looking for stability now.’
Expanding upon the aspects she missed, Amanda said: ‘I miss the friends I made in this colourful industry, particularly the women, and catching up with them for a drink reminds me just how strong and special these women are!’
