Staffordshire police launch hunt for girl last seen with man, 45

Police have launched a manhunt to find a 17-year-old girl who has gone missing and is believed to be with her 45-year-old ‘boyfriend’.

Jessica Roe is believed to be with Stuart Lymer, a man she is believed to consider as her soulmate, after she disappeared last Friday.

She was last seen at 1pm getting into a van outside a Tesco supermarket in Cannock, Staffordshire.

The van was later found at a car park in Stafford, and attempts are being made to establish where Jessica travelled afterwards.

Police have launched a manhunt for Lymer, from Uttoxeter, saying he is wanted ‘in connection with the disappearance on account of Jessica’s age.’

Jessica is described as 5ft 2in, of medium build, and was last seen wearing a black coat and black trousers.

Detective Inspector Alan Lyford, of Staffordshire Police, said: ‘We have genuine concerns for Jessica’s safety, particularly whilst she is in the company of Lymer.

‘There is no suggestion that Jessica was forcibly taken, however we need to bring her home to ensure she is safe.’

Anyone with information on the pair’s whereabouts is urged to call Staffordshire Police immediately on 101 quoting incident number 696 of 2 March.
